Jasmine Tea Pearls – Divine Drink

The word pearl is used for precious stones and when we read this word, our mind automatically diverts to those stones which are taken out from fresh waters or from the depths of great seas. When coming to the process how jasmine tea leaves are taken, it is said that jasmine teas are technically oolongs (Chinese tea leaves that have been partially fermented before being dried).

They are prepared by mixing the touchy flowers of the night-blooming jasmine with tea each evening. In nights, the blossoms open and tincture the tea with their sweet fragrance. Every day, the flowers are plucked and fresh blossoms set up for the evening. The process is to be repeated several times before taking the desire results.
